VAST Diversity – A Site Exploring Neurodiversity

Did you know that there is a new way of looking at our neurological differences? Instead of separating people into ‘normal’ and ‘abnormal’, neurodiversity accepts the fact that we are all naturally different.

Whereas the medical model focuses on deficits, there are also strengths in our differences.

This site started with a focus on ADHD, and the new idea of Variable Attention Stimulus Trait or VAST. But expanded to discuss more conditions like concussions, and Long-Covid which cause neurodiversity as well.

We will look at concepts like hyperfixation, rejection sensitive dysphoria and body focused repetitive behaviours.

There are ways we can improve our lives through meditation, NSDR protocols, light exposure and sometimes supplements.
